Faculty of Education Organizes Artistic Celebration Commemorating the October War Glorious Victories

The Faculty of Education organized a celebration on the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of the victories of the glorious October War, which included a poetry recital about the October War, and a singing performance presented by one of the faculty’s students. The Alexandria University Choir also performed many individual and group patriotic songs that received great interaction from the faculty members and students present.

Dr. Mohamed Anwar, Dean of the Faculty, indicated that the artistic performances that were presented sparked an atmosphere of enthusiasm and added joy and pleasure to the attendees.
Faculty of Engineering Organizes Educational Seminar Celebrating 50th Anniversary of October victories, with the Participation of War Heroes

Under the auspices of Professor Dr. Abdelaziz Konsowa, President of Alexandria University, the Faculty of Engineering at Alexandria University organized an educational seminar to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the victories of the glorious October War, in which Captain Nabil Mahmoud Abdelwahab Yahya, one of the prominent heroes in the history of the Egyptian Navy who participated in sinking the Israeli destroyer “Eilat,” participated. The seminar was attended by Dr. Saeed Allam, Dean of the Faculty and Acting Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Dr. Essam Wahba, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Postgraduate Studies and Research Affairs, Dr. Walid Abdelazim, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Dr. Wael El-Maghlani, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, as well as a group of the October War heroes including emeritus professors who participated in the October War, and faculty students.
Captain Nabil Abdelwahab spoke during the seminar about the operation to sink the Israeli destroyer "Eilat", and his participation in the destruction of the Israeli Eilat port, explaining the role of the Egyptian naval forces in carrying out many successive operations in which they blew up a number of sites located there despite the fortifications and severe security measures taken by the Israeli army during the war.
In his speech, Dr. Saeed Allam welcomed Captain Nabil Abdelwahab to Alexandria University. Dr. Allam saluted the heroes and martyrs of the Egyptian army, stressing that the October victory is one of the greatest victories in the great history of Egypt. Allam called on all students to invoke the spirit of the great October in all aspects of their lives, benefiting from the lessons written by the Egyptian army with patience and determination that work miracles.
The seminar witnessed a large student presence, during which the students expressed their pride in the victory of the glorious October War, and showed a remarkable response to Captain Nabil Abdelwahab on the topics he discussed during the seminar.

Faculty of Education signs a cooperation protocol with the Bashayer Al-Khair City Foundation to provide its educational services

In the interest of Alexandria University to continue providing its educational services to the Alexandria educational community, and with the approval of the University Council headed by Dr. Abdelaziz Konswa, President of Alexandria University, a cooperation protocol was signed between the Faculty of Education, represented by Dr. Mohamed Anwar Farag, Dean of the Faculty of Education, and the Bashayer Al-Khair City Foundation, represented by Dr. Fatima Mohab Mameesh, President of the Board of Trustees, to provide educational services to the institution, with the participation of faculty professors.
The signing ceremony of the partnership protocol was attended by Dr. Ibrahim Azazi, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Dean of Ahad Sherif Muhammad Abdel-Bari, Professor Muhammad Al-Sadiq, the technical supervisor of the institution, and Dr. Marwa Al-Adawi, Director of the Educational Services Center at the faculty.
Faculty of Economics and Political Science Organizes Egyptian House of Representatives Simulation Model

Under the auspices of Professor Dr. Abdelaziz Konsowa, President of Alexandria University, Dr. Ahmed Wahban, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Political Science, inaugurated the sessions of the simulation model of the Egyptian House of Representatives for the current academic year 2024/2025, in the presence of a number of members of the Egyptian House of Representatives, and the participation of dozens of students from the Faculty of Economics and Political Science from the Arabic and English departments
In his speech, Dr. Wahban praised the selection of the Egyptian House of Representatives as the first simulation model event this year, considering that it is the representative of the Egyptian people and the core of parliamentary democracy, pointing to the excellent level of the students of the Faculty of Economics and Political Science, whether at the academic level, or in terms of participation in scientific, cultural and training activities and events, most notably simulation models, the debate program, the language club, the scientific research team, and other activities.
Dr. Osama El-Adly, the faculty's vice dean for education and student affairs, confirmed that the training activities and events such as simulation models are an integral part of the formation of political science and economics graduates, explaining that the House of Representatives simulation model is the beginning of other models that the faculty intends to activate during this academic year such as simulation models of the League of Arab States, the UN Security Council, the stock exchange, banking processes, etc.
Representatives Mona Omar and Ihsan Shawky, members of the House of Representatives, praised the event and stressed their readiness to provide information and support to the students of the model regarding their experiences as parliament members, whether in relation to general sessions or committees work or others.
