Dr. Ahmed Wahban, Dean of the College, indicated that the exhibition includes various exhibits of clothes, handicrafts, and food products at reasonable prices, presented by about 40 exhibitors representing 40 commercial entities and civil society organizations, in addition to three representatives of producers of people of determination. The Dean of the College added that the exhibition serves the students of the College of Studies. Economic and political sciences, as well as students of the university campus, faculty members, administrators and support services.

Professor Dr. Abdelaziz Konsowa, President of Alexandria University, congratulated the members of the Medical Research Institute, including faculty members, employees and students, for the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education decision to renew the institutional academic accreditation of the Institute.
 
 
 
Dr. Khaled Matarawy, Acting Dean of the Institute, indicated that the Institute succeeded in achieving the academic standard criteria for institutional accreditation, which are 12 criteria, namely strategic planning, leadership and governance, quality management and development, faculty members, assisting staff, administrative structure, financial and material resources, academic standards and educational programs, students and graduates, teaching and learning, scientific research and scientific activities, postgraduate studies, community participation and environmental development. The Dean of the Institute thanked the team of faculty members, their assistants and employees for this achievement, which is an effective means of evaluating the quality of the educational process and an important step towards providing educational and research services at the highest level according to specific mechanisms and frameworks determined by the accreditation system of the National Authority for Accreditation.

Yesterday, Faculty of Nursing celebrated Orphan's Day, as it hosted 80 children from five orphanages in Alexandria.
Dr. Nefertiti Hassan, Dean of the faculty, indicated that this activity is a continuation of the activities of the "We Take Care of You" initiative and was organized by the community service and environmental development sector in the faculty in cooperation with the Department of Pediatric Nursing, the Department of Community Health, and the Students' Union under the supervision of the faculty Youth Welfare Department. She said that the day included entertainment activities. And seminars for health education on nutrition, health education on hygiene, and health education activities through puppet theatre. During the day, games were played and various gifts were given to children.

Dr. Ahmed Wahban, Dean of the Faculty, indicated that the faculty's continued success in winning these scholarships is a result of Alexandria University's efforts and commitment to academic and research cooperation with international universities. It is a strong testament to the high academic standard and dedicated efforts of the faculty and its faculty members to graduate highly qualified graduates capable of competing globally, and evidence of the quality of education and the stimulating environment the faculty provides for students. He also thanked Dr. Noha Nagi, Lecturer of Economics and Head of International Cooperation at the Faculty, for her efforts in preparing and qualifying students applying for the scholarship, which is fully funded by the Sawiris Foundation for Social Development and is a competition for students from many Egyptian universities.

Under the auspices of Professor Dr. Abdelaziz Konsowa, President of Alexandria University, the Faculty of Physical Education for Boys organized an educational symposium for its students in cooperation with the Department of Military Education, entitled “Threats and Challenges Facing Egyptian National Security,” in which Major General Engineer Adel El-Omda, Fellow of the Military Academy for Postgraduate and Strategic Studies, lectured. The event was attended by Dr. Mohab. Abdelrazzaq, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education for Boys, Dr. Islam Amin Zaki, Acting Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs, Staff Colonel Mohamed Farouk Abdelaziz, Director of the Military Education Department, Lieutenant Colonel Shehab El-Din Magdy, Deputy Director of Military Education, and members of the faculty staff and teaching assistants.
 
 
The university guest praised the role of university youth and the necessity of developing their awareness of the internal and external threats and challenges happening around us, whether regional or international. The lecture included some of the topics raised on the regional and international scene and the most important issues that receive attention from students. The symposium also included artistic performances by the faculty’s award-winning choir, including a collection of patriotic songs that express love for the country.
 
 
The lecture witnessed remarkable interaction on the part of the students, which was evident through their discussions and inquiries. The event concluded with the handing over of the faculty shield to the guest of the university and faculty, and the choir team participating in the event was also honoured.
