The fourth scientific symposium on "Early Childhood Education after the Corona Pandemic"
Under the auspices of Dr. Abdel Aziz Konsowa, President of Alexandria University, and Dr. Wael Nabil, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and supervised by Dr. Rehab Saleh, who is facilitating the work of the Dean of the Faculty, and Dr. Jannat Al-Bakatoshi, Head of the Educational Sciences Department, the Faculty of Education For Early Childhood organized the fourth scientific symposium of the Faculty’s Educational Sciences Department It was held under the title "Early Childhood Education after the Corona Pandemic".
During its sessions, the symposium discussed many educational issues for the status of early childhood education after the Corona crisis, and suggested innovative ways and methods to treat them through the recommendations of seventeen research papers.
The symposium was attended by faculty members, some leaders of the Ministry of Education, mentors, teachers and experts in the field of early childhood.
Presidential Decree Appointing Dr. Rehab Mahmoud Seddik as Dean of the Faculty of Early Childhood Education
Professor Dr. Abdelaziz Konsowa, President of Alexandria University, received Dr. Rehab Mahmoud Seddik, where he congratulated her on the issuance of the presidential decree appointing her as Dean of the Faculty of Early Childhood Education, wishing her success in assuming the duties of her position, and continuous efforts to raise the level of the faculty. He stressed that the university will provide all forms of support and assistance to help her in carrying out her mission successfully.
President of Alexandria University Inspects Construction Work at Faculty of Engineering Lecture Hall 1, at a Total Cost of 100 Million EGP
Professor Dr. Abdelaziz Konsowa, President of Alexandria University, inspected the construction work at the Faculty of Engineering, stressing the need to adhere to the specified timetable and take into account the quality of implementation, in addition to the necessity of daily follow-up of new constructions occurring at the university level. Dr. Konsowa also inspected the construction work for Lecture Hall 1 at the Faculty of Engineering. He pointed out that the hall was built using the latest state-of-the-art technology used in international universities at a total cost of up to 100 million pounds, with a capacity of 638 seats, and is equipped with a high-speed internet network, a complete air conditioning system using the latest VFR systems, a firefighting system, an audio system, surveillance cameras and display monitors.
Alexandria University participates in AEEDC 2024, Largest International Dental Exhibition in the UAE in Cooperation with University of Manchester
Under the auspices of Professor Dr. Abdelaziz Konsowa, President of Alexandria University, the Faculty of Dentistry participated in the UAE International Dental Conference & Arab Dental Exhibition (AEEDC) 2024 in the United Arab Emirates, which is considered the largest international dental exhibition in the world, within the framework of the cooperation agreement concluded between the Faculty of Dentistry, Alexandria University and the British University of Manchester.
Dr. Ahmed Abdelhakim, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, pointed out that the “AEEDC” exhibition enjoys a global status, and is attended by more than 40,000 visitors from various countries of the world, pointing out the importance of the conference for dental experts, academics, and specialists all over the world, stressing that the conference addresses developments and research in various specializations in the field of dentistry. He added that the conference hosts the most prominent specialized speakers on the global level, and embraces several specialized activities and events. The exhibition also includes an exhibition of emerging companies and provides these companies with an opportunity to conclude long-term deals and investments in order to serve the local, regional and international markets.
Dr. Nermin Rady, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Dentistry, participated in this conference as a representative of Alexandria University.
Faculty of Education Signs Cooperation Protocol with Sakr Language Schools
Within the framework of Alexandria University’s keenness to serve Alexandria’s educational community, and with the approval of the University Council headed by Professor Dr. Abdelaziz Konsowa, University President, Dr. Mohamed Anwar Farrag, Dean of the Faculty of Education, and Engineer Raafat Sakr, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Sakr Language Schools, signed a cooperation protocol between the two sides. This comes as part of the Faculty of Education’s pioneering role to provide its educational services to civil society institutions.
The signing ceremony was attended by Ms. Enas Ragab, Director of Sakr Language Schools, Ms. Raghda Sakr, Deputy Director of the school, Mr. Khaled Molokheya, Administrative Manager of the school, Dr. Hassan Abdeen, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Education for Student Affairs, Dr. Salem Abdel Razek, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service Affairs, Ms. Aziza Shalaby, Secretary General of the Faculty, and Dr. Marwa El-Adawi, Director of the Educational Services Centre at the Faculty.
