Alexandria University Vice President Dr. Hisham Gaber visited the Theoretical Complex to review the second semester exam in the faculties of Tourism, Law, Commerce, Arts and Education. He emphasized on providing proper psychological atmosphere for the students, and preventing any opportunity for cheating.

Dr. Hisham Gaber also reviewed the work inside control rooms and stressed on finishing examination papers and announcing final results as soon as possible.

Dr. Gaber was accompanied by deans and deputies of the faculties of the theoretical complex during his tour.

 

Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Dr. Essam Al-Kordi, President of Alexandria University, on Saturday morning, August 15, 2020, with video conference technology, inaugurated the University Center for Professional and Professional Development at the College of Education, in the presence of Major General Mohamed Al-Sharif, Governor of Alexandria, and Dr. Hisham Jaber Deputy University President for Education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Alaa Ramadan, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, which was established in cooperation with the American University in Cairo and funded by the United States Agency for International Development, with the aim of contributing to providing professional counseling and training on employment skills for free to bridge the gap between university education and market needs Labor and industry.

 

 

 

The Faculty of Medicine – Alexandria University organizes a workshop about the Egyptian Knowledge Bank on Sunday 10th of September at 10:00 am. The workshop will be held in Conferences Hall in the faculty building. The workshop will be delivered by Mr. Mahmoud Daood the Manager of Marketing and training in Liberary Information System Company and Coordinator of Training in the Egyptian Knowledge Bank.

Under the auspices of Dr. Abdelaziz Konsowa, President of Alexandria University, the Faculty of Science organized the eleventh employment forum, at the college’s stadiums in Muharram Bey, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Amani Ismail, acting dean of the faculty, and Dr. Sameh Riad, Head of the Central Administration of the Environmental Affairs Agency in Alexandria, and Dr. Mohamed Muharram, Vice President of the Businessmen Association, and Dr. Yasser Al-Najjar, General Manager of Laboratories at Aspic Company, the professors, the college deputies, the representatives of the departments of the industrial companies and the bodies participating in the forum, the Alumni Association, and a number of the faculty members and their assistants, and the college’s graduates and students.
 
 
The day’s activities began with an opening lecture by Dr. Diaa El-Din Mohamed, founder and CEO of Mass Healthcare Company for manufacturing detergents and cosmetics, entitled: “Jousor-bridges to opportunities.” This was followed by the opening of exhibitions for a group of companies, namely: Al-Sukari Gold Mines Company - Centamin, and Promotion Tire Manufacturing Company. Ezz El Dekheila Iron and Steel Company, Covaris Packaging Egypt Company, Egyptian Petrochemical Company, Alexandria Specialized Petroleum Products Company (ASPEC), Mido Modern Paints Company, Container Engineering Company, Vitabiotics Company, and the American Chemistry Society (Egyptian Chapter), with the participation of the Businessmen Association. , Pyramakers Technologies, the Holding Company for Drinking Water, the Sanitation Company, the National Telecommunications Institute, the Institute of Information and Communications Technology, the Egyptian Telecommunications Company, Dr. Lab. Mustafa Murad, Skills Dynamix New Horizons, Get In Technology Company, Dr. Laboratories. Asmaa Fawzi, VI Markets Company - Egypt, Lakes and Fish Resources Protection and Development Authority, and units of a special nature at the college.
 
 
The day witnessed an unprecedented large presence of graduates, students, and those interested in the subject of employment and training at the fairgrounds with the participating companies and the opening lecture. The day’s activities ended with the organization of 3 workshops for graduates at the fairgrounds, delivered by: Dr. Heba Salama, Scientific Research Ambassador for the German Authority for Scientific Exchange at Alexandria University and Undersecretary for Community Service Affairs. And environmental development at the University’s Faculty of Agriculture, entitled: “Studying in Germany and the DAAD funding opportunities”, and Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Ali - General Manager of Operations at Alexandria Mineral Oil Company (AMOC), entitled “Skills necessary to work in the petroleum sector”, and Engineer/ Mahmoud Aouf. - Director of Training at the Information Technology Institute (ITI), Alexandria Branch, and Director of the Institute’s Artificial Intelligence Department, entitled “Road map to develop your skills and employment opportunities.

Under the auspices of Professor Dr. Abdelaziz Konsowa, President of Alexandria University, the Faculty of Economics Studies and Political Science organized today the first introductory forum for professional master's programs in economics and political science, in the presence of Dr. Ahmed Wahban, Dean of the Faculty, vice deans, a group of parliament members, faculty members, several representatives of civil society organizations, media professionals, and a number of researchers and students.
 
 
 
 
 
In his speech, Dr. Ahmed Wahban explained the specializations offered by the professional master's programs offered by the Faculty amounting to six programs, explaining that they come in response to the demands and needs of the Alexandrian community and neighboring governorates, especially members of civil society who play a prominent role in educational work and in serving Egyptian citizens.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Dr. Wahban pointed out that these programs are of high quality, especially since they come within the framework of an authentic and well-established scientific institution such as the Faculty of Economics and Political Science. He also stressed that the faculty took into account the economic aspects in designing these programs in terms of expenses, and also took into account the study dates and days so that study is limited to Fridays and Saturdays of each week.

Dr. Sherine Nasr, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Graduate Studies and Research, reviewed the most prominent characteristics of the professional master's programs at the faculty and the difference between them and the academic master's, in addition to providing an overview of those teaching from academics, specialists, diplomats and consultants in many related fields. She discussed the admission requirements and the target group, as well as the many benefits that will accrue to students and details related to tuition and administrative expenses, as well as the discount rates.
 
 
 
 
Dr. Mahmoud Zaqzouq, an economics lecturer at the faculty and one of the economics program coordinators, and Dr. Ragab El-Talkhawi, a political science lecturer at the faculty and one of the political science program gave more details related to the nature of the study, the courses and their objectives.
 
 
 
 
 
 
The forum activities ended with receiving questions and interventions from the attendees, which were answered by Dr. Sherine Nasr.
